Alula & Alex - Engagement

We had an amazing time shooting Alula and Alex’s engagement session. Just like me, they love Seattle downtown and we felt right at home shooting there. It’s so nice to be their photographer since i know half of their family already. I’ve shot Alula’s cousin’s wedding earlier this month and it was amazing! I am sure their wedding will be a blast too!

Please enjoy the photos! :)

This wall is fantastic. Must be millions of posters been posted on that wall over time.

You must have seen me shooting from this angle a lot, but there is something about this pose that just screams love and joy, and I just must take it! :)

I love this bench, I love the pose, I love the look they have, I love you guys! lol

Can they be any cuter… :)

Oh yeah, work it guys! :)

You guys can jump! :)

The sunset was spectacular!

The ring is GORGEOUS! Alex did a great job! :)

They met at Berkley, can you tell? :)

We took a well deserved break! Yay for 7 cups of chowder! :)

And after the break, they looked even better! :)

Thank you for being so great guys. Max and I had a lot of fun working with you and already have great plans for your wedding photos! :)

January 31, 2010 - 3:28 pm Natalie Gibbs - The lighting on those night shots is gorgeous, and I love the ones where you shot them from above. Very nice work. Must have a been long shoot?

February 2, 2010 - 2:44 pm Thomas Lester - I agree with Natalie. The lighting on the night shots is fantastic, but what I want to know is about the shots with them in the berkley sweats. What time of day was that and were you using any lighting or reflectors? That light is magic!

February 11, 2010 - 1:31 pm James - What a fun E session! You are very talented photog, always bring ordinary couple into amazing couple, with great compo and lighting, you nailed it!

Aimee & Dustin - Wedding

This was my first wedding of the year and what a great start! It was also my first wedding on boat! I loved every moment about this wedding. They made us feel like a family. So many nice people gathered for such a joyful celebration. I usually don’t post that many photos, but since I had a little extra time, I had time to prepare my biggest post! :) Please enjoy the photos!

Aimee’s mom and sister are the sweetest people!

So Aimee’s dad! What a great family!

While I was at the bride’s place, Max was shooting at the groom’s while they were getting ready.

The church looked like a boat upside down. Noah’s Ark? Very cool!

I loved the shoes…

…and the dress! Look at the flowers. So cool! :)

Everywhere you could see the luxuriously prepared flowers.

Cuties! :)

Love this picture of them looking outside. They look like angels.

Very sharp looking ring bearer! :)

Friends, friends…:)

One of my favorites!

I am on a boat! :)

These taken from the boat. The moon was fantastic!

You guys look so great. I love the classy feel to the photo: the flying veil and the downtown in the background…Love this! :)

Everybody had so much fun with the photo-booth. Even Max and I got our photos taken! :)

The slideshow was great and took everyone back to where it all started.

And in no time, the dancing team was on the dance floor. Aimee’s dad was the star of the night! :)

Ok, you really had to be there to appreciate these two! It was amazing! :)

Watching kids dance is priceless! :)

After the last shots on a boat…

…we headed downtown.

Public Market!!!

Another of my favorites!

You guys look amazing!

You could barely see people around. It’s like we rented the whole downtown! :)

Love it!

And there it was, time to say good bye! :) After the cold evening the trip to Mexico sounded sooo good! :)

Thank you Aimee and Dustin! You guys were amazing and working with you was a pure joy! I am so glad I met you guys and that we’ve become friends. I know you guys will be happy together because you two are meant for each other! :) I know we will keep in touch! :)

To all my new friends, please don’t hesitate to add me on facebook. Let’s be friends! :)

January 24, 2010 - 9:38 am Aimee & Dustin Higbee - Beautiful, Awesome, Great, and Fantastic isn't even enough to describe your pictures Victor! You and Max captured our special day so well, when looking at this blog it was like we were there again! Even more amazing is I know these are just SOME of the pictures-can't wait to see the rest. You guys are the hardest working photographers, and it totally shows in your quality of pictures! We're looking for more excuses to work with you again :) Thanks Victor & Max

January 24, 2010 - 9:22 pm Kathi Flores - I was amazed at the hard work and creativity you showed on the day of the wedding. I remarked to both Dustin( my son) and Aimee that I had never seen a photographer with such talent and personality before do a wedding. It was wonderful to watch you in action and the end result is a testament to you. Job well done!

January 24, 2010 - 9:49 pm tim billings - Truly amazing work Victor and Max. I'd recommend you to anyone I know for any occasion. Thanks for capturing all the memories.

January 26, 2010 - 12:36 am Robb Duncan - Awesome images, really well done!!

Liz & Levi - Engagement

We had great time taking pictures of Liz and Levi. Choosing the location was very easy. Levi got his bachelor’s in University of Washington, so we thought why not do it there! :) I’ve known Levi for years and he’s done awesome job second shooting for me in the past.

Liz is the sweetest person you’d ever meet. She just recently got back from Peru after being there for about a year helping poor children.

I am very thrilled to be a part of their wedding day. I know it will be great!

Here are some of my favorites from the session.

Liz showing off her skills of raising her eyebrow! :)

These photos pretty much sum up the day on how much fun we had! :)

January 21, 2010 - 6:23 am Lisa - LOVE this set-- amazing!!!!

January 26, 2010 - 5:45 pm Liz - Gee thanks Victor, now everybody knows I can't raise one eyebrow ;-)

Jeanette & Braeden - Wedding

Jeanette and Braeden’s wedding was a lot of fun! Ever since I’ve shot their engagement session, I knew the wedding would be fantastic. It was my first trip with a bridal party to the top of a mountain and I loved it A LOT! :)

Beautiful couple, nice sunny day, and very energetic bridal party, what else could I ask for! Special thanks to my friend and a great photographer from Vancouver, BC Jerry Segismundo! Your help is very much appreciated!

So adorable!

Toasts inside of the limo.

I wish someone took a picture of me. I had winter shoes on, warm coat and everything, but looking at them it looks so warm. Great job guys…you’re such troopers! :)

Mt. Backer in the background? Heck yes! :)

It looks like a movie scene to me. Secret service helping the princess…

the Lost ? Love it! :)

The place where they kissed for the first time.

I love this candid shot of Braeden. He looks so happy! :)

The cake was friggin’ delicious! :)

Something very Royal in this shot of Jeanette. Princess Jeanette maybe? :)

And that’s how the rest of the evening looked like! :)

Me and my new best friends! :)

January 19, 2010 - 7:09 pm Pavel Gerega - Towards the end there are some outside pictures of the guys in the dark. What kind of light did you use for the backlight? It's a very nice job doing it that way. Anyways nice work as usual Viktor! I always come back to your site to look at the images for inspiration and ideas. Some of the best I've ever seen!

January 19, 2010 - 7:14 pm Victor Saidov - Thanks Pavel! It's just a regular off camera flash in the background.

January 20, 2010 - 9:44 am Sarah Lee - Wow Victor!!! What a fantastic wedding!! Your detail shots are amazing and I LOVE the Mt Baker shot!

January 21, 2010 - 5:58 pm Thomas Lester - Great job as usual Victor!

Tami & Cliff - Wedding

Tami and Cliff got married in a very nice and intimate wedding with all the close friends and family. It was such a joy to be around them. Some of the guests flew from as far as Australia. It was the evening full of joy.

Please enjoy some of my favorite photos. ..
